More Medical Stuff

Went to the infectious disease doc today.  He took me off the Bactrium. Which makes me happy.  The only twist to me being taken off that, involves and IV.  The nurse at his office put in a mainline IV, basically it's the same as the a normal IV, but it involves 8 inches of silicon tubing shoved inside my vein.  I have to give myself IV treatments for the next 5 days.  If I could find my camera, I would take a picture of what I currently look like.  My left arm is still bandaged from the surgery. Now, my right arm has an IV shoved in it, and a nice mess sleeve over the area.  Clint and I went to lunch today, and I got funny looks from people at the restaurant.

It's slightly sore.  But the nurse said it would be for awhile.  Hopefully my room mate in St. Louis won't think I'm a druggie or something.  Bright side to all of this is the fact that I'll be down with my antibiotics next Wednesday!!!  And my wound should be almost completely healed.

Well time to find something for dinner.
