Sick Hubby

I took Clint to St. Luke's East ER this morning.  He had been up all night puking in the bathroom.  You know Clint, he never gets sick, but when he does, he does.  We were there for almost three hours. Not waiting mind you.  We were in the waiting room for not even five minutes when they called us back.  They, the nurse and doctor, put two liters of fluid into Clint through an IV.  He has a touch of the flu.  Which to me is shocking, because I'm the one that works with sick children.  We got home around noon, and he's been asleep since then.  Looking at the clock it's 7:09.  He's not going to Sedalia tomorrow to play.  I'm going to let him have the bed tonight. He needs to get his rest, plus I don't mind sleeping on the couch.

It rained all night as well.  When we got back from the hospital, our lovely creek was a raging river. It's now back to being a creek.  Well time to get to grading my student's work.  End of the Quarter Blues.
