My Week

So, I was able to get my dinner finished Sunday, regardless of how Dade was attempting to prevent that.  My green beans turned out yummy.  Our friends, Chris and Tina, have a 2 year old who doesn't like green beans. But for some reason he liked mine.  Maybe it was all that bacon grease that I used for flavoring.  Who knows.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and today I went to the school to work for a few hours.  Seeing as it's spring break, no one was at the school except the front office staff.  Tuesday I cleaned and rearranged my room.  Wednesday I finished that up, and did my lesson plans.  I started making copies.  That was until the copier decided to own my copies and stop working.  I faked it out though.  I turned it off, let it chill for 20 minutes or so, then turned it back on.  Worked for 15 minutes, then owned my face again.  At that point I was tired of messing with it for that day.  Copier  2 points, Cassie 1. Today I went in to finish up.  Not only was I able to finish making my copies for the week, I was also able to make copies of my transparencies.  Final score. Copier 2 points, Cassie 5! Screw you copier I won! HAHAHA

Funny story, I went to Wal-mart to find transparencies. Went to the section where the photo paper is, t-shirt iron-ons ect. . .  Couldn't find them, so I asked someone.  Here's how the conversation went.

"Excuse me.  Can you tell me where I can find overhead transparencies."

"What are overheard transparencies?"

Insert dumb-founded look on my face. "Um. . . you know when you were in school the teacher would roll this cart like thing to the front of the classroom and project light onto the board?"

"Yep"

"Well, the teacher would put this plastic sheets on the overhead projector.  Those are overhead transparencies."

"Oh. No I don't know where they are hold on." Guy leaves to find someone who knows where I can find them. New employee comes up, goes to where I was looking and concludes that they "fazed" them out.  Thank you Wal-mart for hiring dumb people.  Everyone needs a job I guess.

We found out on Monday that some of our friends that got married last month were going to be parents.  Excitement over came me.  More friends having babies makes me happy.  But I received a sad phone call today that she miscarried. It doesn't matter how far along someone is.  Miscarriages are sad news.  I looked at Dade when I got off the phone and thought what if that had happened to me.  I wouldn't have my Dadey Baby.

Every Thursday night Clint goes to Grandview to play in a Warhammer game.  The guys he played with sent him an email saying that they were meeting early to have pizza at CiCi's and that he was welcome to come.  So Clint left early. He also got home earlier than normal.  It's a little after 11 now and he has been home for about 15 minutes.  Anyways, he walks in and says:

"I got bad news"

First thought, he messed up my car. "What?"

"I got two tickets."

"What? Two tickets.  Speeding and what else?"

"Invalid insurance"

Now how crazy is it that he gets a ticket for invalid insurance when his mother is our insurance agent.  It had to have just expired.  At least we can contest the second ticket. Going to plead guilty on the speeding charge. Yeah for higher insurance! It just went down after his wreck in 2005.

I watched the movie Juno and Alvin and The Chipmunks yesterday. Both movies are now on my "Purchase Me List"

Currently watching Ghost Hunters Season 3 Part 2. Seems to fit.  Stormy outside. Watching in the dark is fun.  Dade is asleep in his crib.  We'll see how long that lasts since it's starting to storm again. Stupid thunder wakes him up every time.  Plus Slinky is crying because of the storm.

I don't know what's worse a crying baby or crying/wailing dog.  Get them going at the same time, you've got yourself a party.

[Insert sarcastic look]
