Can't Remember When

I last blogged.  Which is not entirely a good thing.  It's been crazy busy the last two weeks or so.  So busy in fact I don't even know where to start. I guess me can start with my first mother's day.

It was pretty rockin! I got my first gift the Wednesday before.  Geoff and Amy bought me a wireless mouse, and a book.  The wireless mouse is awesome, because I made the joke about not having to get up from the couch if I had a wireless mouse.  For those of you that don't know, I recently learned how to hook my laptop up to the TV, so I've been watching my shows on the TV off the laptop.  With the wireless mouse I don't have to get up to hit continue. Lazy. Yes. But when you have a sleeping baby on you it makes all the difference. Clint bought me a dozen roses.  I told him not to get me anything because we can't afford a lot of extra stuff right now, but he doesn't listen. It was super sweet though!

The school year is starting to come to an end.  I'm going to be teaching 3rd grade next year.  I'm excited to work with the ladies that are already there.  I'm trying to find my niche with the kids age wise.  I think I might find my match here. My big portfolio is due on Friday by 4:15.  I'll finish it tomorrow, fingers-crossed.

Dade's being doing good.  Last night he was trying to sit up by himself in the boppy pillow. I think he's starting to get his teeth in.  He must have chewed up my finger for quite a while tonight.  Amy took some cute pictures. Right now he's standing on her tummy making weird faces because he's making a mess for me to clean in his diaper.  He's 11 weeks now.  We are going to start cereal within the next few weeks. That will be fun and exciting.

I thin we are going to Branson for Memorial Day weekend. Our friends Scott and Sarah invited us down for the weekend.  We haven't seen Sarah since October/November and she's dying to see Dade. Scott works for some resort and said he could get tickets for just about any show in Branson.  It will be nice to get away.  I think the plan is to head down that Saturday morning (it's like a 4 hour drive), and then come home Monday morning.

Three more classes until I graduate.  My classes this summer will be a nice relaxing set.  Graphic Novels and Literature in Film.  Which sets me up for my big research class (which is my final one). It will be nice to have my degree has a third year because it will be a nice pay raise.

Time for Dade's bed time routine.

Diaper.

Bottle.

Books.

Rock.

Place in Crib.
