Snow Day!!!!

This is the second day in a week, that we have had to cancel school.  The twist is that the first snow day I didn't get to fully enjoy.  Why is that?  Well, after trying to get a student of mine that was throwing a fit out of the classroom, I threw my back out.  It was not a lot of fun.  Rode in an ambulance to the ER at St. Lukes on the Plaza, because my legs were tingling.  That was last Tuesday, then Wednesday we had no school.  I was on the couch all day trying to rest.  Thursday I tried to go back to work.  Keyword "tried" however I was still in a lot of pain.  So I went to another doctor, we suggested I do some Physical Therapy.  That helped out A LOT.  I felt some much better after that!  Had a second session on Friday, and felt even better.

Saturday was a fun and exciting day for Clint and I.  We both graduated from Baker University with our Master Degrees.  I received my Masters in Education, and Clint received his Masters in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Religion.  It's nice to be done with my Masters, however there is so much more that I want to learn about.  That being said, I'm going to start my MLA in February.  Call me crazy, but I am excited.

Here's some recent pictures of the kid!

He fell asleep in his high chair while Clint was trying to finish his portfolio for his MLA.

In his snow gear ready to go play for the first time in the snow.

He seems excited in this picture. So we let him try to walk. He ended up face planting into the snow.

Here's the result of the face plant. So, he just sat in the snow and ran his hands through it.

This seemed like a much better choice.

Dade saw Santa for the first time. He did really well. He then saw Santa again at Krause Christmas.

It's crazy to think he'll be 10 months old next week! He is a brave little guy. He's cruising a lot throughout the house, and is starting to let go of objects. He'll be running before too long!
